Muddy Paws is a one-groomer studio on Reid Street, Fitzroy North. We take four to six dogs a day, nobody waits in a cage, and if anything comes up mid groom we call you first.
Prices below are starting prices for small dogs. We confirm yours before we pick up the clippers.
Bath, blow dry, a cut that suits the breed and your life, nails, ears and a finish spray. We talk the cut through at drop-off.
Bath, blow dry, a light scissor tidy around the face and paws, and a nail clip. Good for the weeks between full grooms.
A slow first session built around getting comfortable, not getting a haircut. Bath, dry, light tidy and a lot of treats.
We also do de-shedding treatments, walk-in nail trims and a handful of add-ons.
All six servicesFive minutes at the studio. We look over the coat together, agree on the cut and the price, and you're off. Edinburgh Gardens is a two minute walk if you want to kill some time.
When we're about half an hour from done, you get a message. No sitting in the car out the front guessing.
The bill matches the quote. If something changed mid groom, you already know about it because we called.
Sarah Mitchell has been grooming since 2015. She spent five years in a high-volume Prahran salon doing fifteen dogs a day, decided that was bad for the dogs and worse for the grooming, and opened Muddy Paws in 2020.
"Half the dogs around here have been swimming in Merri Creek by Tuesday. The name wasn't a stretch."
The studio runs at four to six dogs a day. Your dog sees the same person every visit, which matters more than people expect, especially for the nervous ones.
